Year 5 Teacher
Part Time – 0.6 FTE – Monday to Wednesday (Fixed-Term Contract – 3 days per week)
Dale Christian College is seeking a committed and relational Year 5 Teacher to join our Primary School team for the remainder of the 2026 academic year.
This is a part-time fixed-term position, commencing Monday, 27th July 2026, or earlier by negotiation depending on availability, and concluding Thursday, 10 December 2026.
We are looking for a teacher who is organised, calm and purposeful in the classroom, and who genuinely enjoys working with middle / upper primary students. The successful applicant will be able to build positive relationships, maintain clear expectations, deliver engaging learning experiences, and contribute well to the life of our Christian College community.
The role would suit someone who is committed to Christian education, understands the importance of strong literacy and numeracy teaching, and is able to support students as they continue to grow in confidence, independence, responsibility and faith.
There may be the possibility of ongoing employment beyond 2026, however this will depend on future staffing needs and other College considerations.
Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, Teacher Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, and be willing to support the Christian ethos, values and mission of Dale Christian College.

Minimum qualification for Education Assistants is a Certificate III for general classroom roles. A Certificate IV is preferred and may be required for Learning Support roles, depending on role responsibilities.
